Enrolling at Central Gardens
To enrol your child with us, we require you to fill out an enrolment form and nominate the hours of care you require. Once we have this information, we will discuss payment options with you and our staff can assist you in claiming the Child Care Rebate or Benefit.
We have dedicated areas to encourage your child to play, learn and develop vital skills that they will use throughout their life. Early childhood years are crucial to your child's future, so we understand the importance to quality child care.
When it comes to child care fees, Central Gardens Childcare is one of the most price-competitive day care centres on the Central Coast. Central Gardens fees are paid through an Ezi-Debit system.
For specific fee information for your child or children, please contact our centre directly
. This will allow us to give you the best indication of the fee structure that would apply for your needs.
We aim to provide quality attention to children up to six years of age. Central Gardens Childcare provide educators who have studied early childhood courses to support the needs of your child.
To ensure your children are receiving the right level of care, we have a dedicated room for children aged between three and five years, known as the Banksia Room. We also have the Blossoms and Gumnuts room, which caters to children between the age of 0 and 3. Adequate supervision is provided for all areas of the centre and we encourage children to participate in a range of activities. Our staff also respond to individual needs of each child, providing extra support for introverted children.
Central Gardens Childcare adhere to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), which is a nationally recognised curriculum for pre-schoolers. We understand that learning is not just about education, but also achieved through interaction and supported relationships.
We encourage shared positive thinking and respectful relationships to support learning processes. We also support your child's interests and incorporate them into their everyday learning.
Each child attending Central Gardens Childcare is required to bring at least one change of clothes each day, as well as a brimmed hat and enclosed shoes. We encourage children to dress in clothing that will not restrict their playtime and that is weather appropriate. It is recommended that these items be labelled with your child's name.
If your child suffers from a condition that requires medication, Central Gardens Childcare has staff on hand to administer this for you. We will not give medication to a child that does not have a valid prescription (i.e. your child's name must be on the medication).
When your child is enrolled, we will request information about their general health, including any allergies they may have.
